Dr. Gazelle Shabani finds true joy in the transformative power of cosmetic dentistry—especially those unforgettable moments when a patient sees their new smile for the first time. With advanced expertise in veneers, crowns, and Invisalign, she helps patients not only enhance their appearance but also rediscover confidence in how they feel every day.
Before co-founding River Oaks Dentistry, Dr. Gazelle honed her skills in Beverly Hills, where she focused on high-end cosmetic dentistry and smile transformations. That experience, combined with her artistic eye and advanced training, shaped her personalized approach to creating confident, natural-looking smiles here in Houston.
"There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone light up when they see their dream smile for the first time," she says. "It’s about so much more than just teeth—it’s about confidence, self-image, and the way they move through the world."
When she's not crafting beautiful smiles, Dr. Gazelle loves losing herself in a good book, staying active with Pilates, and exploring Houston's ever-evolving restaurant scene. As the city constantly unveils new dining spots, she's always on the lookout for her next favorite place!

Dr. Omid Shabani
Dr. Omid Shabani brings fresh perspective and skills to River Oaks Dentistry after earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. His focus on implants, oral surgery, and complex reconstructive cases provides his patients with the highest quality solutions to help them achieve optimal health.
With a natural problem-solving mindset, Dr. Omid approaches each case like a puzzle. He particularly enjoys full mouth reconstruction cases, where he restores both function and aesthetics.
"I've always been drawn to the challenges in dentistry," Dr. Omid explains. "There's something deeply satisfying about helping someone who's in pain or can't eat properly, and giving them their smile back."
In his free time, Dr. Omid enjoys traveling, staying active, and working out. He loves exploring new destinations and immersing himself in different cultures. He values spending time with his loved ones, including family and friends.
